Shining a disapproving spotlight on littering. When someone abandons some rubbish, others think it's ok to add to it. It's not. Find a real bin or take it home!
@startedabin Cleared this “bin” the other week whilst litterpicking😡 - the owner of this hedge is a very elderly lady who tries to keep her garden looking lovely. Hopefully she never saw this mess, she’d have been so upset!
This roadside verge reveals:
A total absence of personal responsibility
A rejection of the notion of community pride
A failure of legal enforcement against criminals
A complete embarrassment for Britain
It cannot go on. @benonwine
The tediously inevitable balloon and ribbon string I find almost every time I walk in the countryside. Birthdays funerals weddings birth reveals they all release balloons. Stop it
The sheer volume of old litter along this rural lane here made it hard work 13 bags along these embankments. For every bit seen there are 10 hidden. It's all thrown from vehicles there is no path this here one of the flatter bits with cars racing past
Local hedge decorated with Christmas themed greggs litter. So annoying such a mess to see and not unusual at all. Soon we'll have dumped boxes & bags full of wrapping paper, broken decorations plastic trees.
