@DavidZervosDC@SecScottBessent You were mostly right at Jeffries and always sensible. Your 2012 call not to hide in the basement with champagne and guns but instead buy the market was one of the best.
@gave_vincent Did Brazil ever reform? They just seem to thrive when commodities are hot. Booming because the Chinese need commodities seems more of a "play" than an investment.
@jonbking The Singaporean ETF is EWS, half it is comprised of banks. DBS Bank DBSDY, the largest one, has outperformed the ETF substantially over time, and might be worth focusing on.
@KEDM_COM Reminds me of when Nippon Telegraph and Telephone NTT was listed in 1987 and had a market cap of $350 billion which was only 200 PE and 4 to 6 times revs. Later the price went down 88%.
@DannyDayan5@carney But his actual portfolio performance, while not stunning, is not bad. I subscribed for brief while and his historical numbers were decent.
@jeremie0117@AurelionRsch@Pray4Equity not, not really, I just recalled that Japan was losing listings, M&A, etc. KKR and others like them say we have entered the Japanese M&A era. Japan is always tough to get right. I followed Warren Buffett into the Japanese trading companies. I own the Brazil exchange BOLSY.
I found out he was cheating on me a week after my parents passed.
Instead of confronting him, I waited for the day I received my inheritance...
I hadn't even started to grieve my parents when everything began to unravel. Their sudden death left me numb, and while my husband, Sam, was there in the
beginning, helping with arrangements, comforting me when I cried, making sure l ate, soon i noticed him pulling away. Weeks passed, and his emotional distance grew, leaving me drowning in my sorrow while he drifted farther from me. One evening, while going through my parents' old papers, Sam's phone buzzed on the counter. A text from a name I didn't recognize caught my eye: "I miss you. When can we talk?"My heart raced, but I pushed the feeling aside, telling myself it meant nothing. Yet, I couldn't resist picking up his phone, scrolling through their messages.
