I stand in solidarity with Nigerians demanding an end to banditry, insecurity, and bad governance.
Every Nigerian deserves safety, opportunity, and a government that works for the people.

I was deeply honoured to host a high-powered solidarity visit from the Igbo Elders Consultative Forum at my residence in Abuja.
The delegation was led by Dr. S. N. Okeke, Chairman of the Ohanaeze Council of Elders for the 19 States and the FCT, alongside former Governor of Enugu State, Okwesilieze Nwodo. The elders expressed strong appreciation for the growing and cordial partnership between myself and His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). They pledged their unwavering support for the Obi/Kwankwaso ticket and assured the movement of massive electoral backing across the South-East and the wider Southern region.
In my response, I thanked the delegation for their visit and for the opportunity to exchange views on the state of the nation. Reflecting on the historic North-South East political dynamics, I expressed delight at the excellent and productive relationship I continue to enjoy with HE Peter Obi. I also reaffirmed my total commitment to the OK Movement and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), emphasising our resolute determination to deliver victory for the party in the upcoming elections. - RMK

PRESS STATEMENT
A delegation of the national leadership of the Kwankwasiya movement last night met with the national leader, His Excellency Senator Henry Seriake Dickson and the leadership of the NDC.
The close door meeting was aimed at resolving the issues between the Kwankwasiya movement and the legacy officials of NDC in Kano State.
Senator Dickson and the NDC leadership are mediating in the process in order to enhance inclusion and participation by every party member. The NDC leadership will not impose candidates in Kano State, and indeed across the nation as the party cherishes the virtues of internal democracy.
The meeting which lasted several hours was productive.
The NDC has not released any official results of its primary elections in any state. Hence, the public and party members are urged to disregard any such list in circulation.

I have noted with grave concern the escalating wave of insecurity that has engulfed our beloved nation. Once again, Nigeria is bleeding profusely. From Zamfara, Borno, Sokoto, Katsina, and Kwara to Oyo and several other parts of the country, our citizens can no longer sleep with both eyes closed.
Banditry, kidnapping for ransom, terrorism, communal clashes, and armed robbery have tragically become daily occurrences. What is most alarming is the audacity of these criminals, who now brazenly hold live sessions on social media to taunt the authorities and terrorise the public.
This is totally unacceptable and not befitting of a sovereign nation like ours.
As someone who has served this country at various levels, including as Governor of Kano State and Minister of Defence, where we confronted and significantly reduced security challenges through decisive leadership and community engagement, I remain convinced that insecurity is not insurmountable. What we lack today is not resources, but the requisite political will and sincerity to confront this menace head-on.
The current approach has clearly failed. Despite massive budgetary allocations to the security sector, the situation continues to deteriorate rapidly. Innocent lives are being lost daily, families are displaced in their thousands, and our economy is suffocating under the heavy weight of fear and instability.
We cannot continue on this dangerous path. Nigeria’s security architecture requires an urgent and comprehensive overhaul.
Additionally, to safeguard our socioeconomic wellbeing, the government must prioritise the provision of quality education, modern infrastructure, accessible healthcare, reliable electricity supply, and essential agricultural inputs. This approach will strengthen local food production and reduce over-reliance on imports for food security.
We must immediately prioritise the welfare and motivation of our gallant security personnel, strengthen intelligence gathering, enhance community policing, and, most crucially, tackle the root causes of this crisis; poverty, mass unemployment, and poor governance through massive investment in quality education, skills acquisition, and job creation for our teeming youth. - RMK
This evening, I hosted a highly productive meeting with the NDC candidates from Kogi State at my residence in Abuja.
We had robust deliberations on the way forward and concrete strategies for our collective victory. - RMK
Scenes from the successful rescue of 360 abductees in Borno, the majority of them women and children, during a coordinated operation by Special Forces troops and the 26 Task Force Brigade. An outstanding achievement by our security personnel. 🇳🇬
Dear Young Nigerians,
One lesson from the 2023 elections, particularly in Lagos, should never be forgotten.
In the period following the presidential election and leading up to the governorship election, we witnessed a troubling shift in public discourse. Conversations that should have focused on competence, governance, development, and the future of our nation were gradually diverted towards tribal sentiments, ethnic divisions, and unnecessary suspicion among citizens.
Many sincere and well-meaning Nigerians participated in these conversations without realising that they were being drawn into narratives carefully designed by others.
Throughout history, whenever politicians find it difficult to compete on ideas, performance, character, or vision, some resort to exploiting the fault lines of ethnicity, religion, and identity. Their calculation is simple: a divided people are easier to manipulate than a united people.
Today, I see similar efforts emerging again, sometimes in more subtle and sophisticated ways. Narratives are planted, amplified, and circulated, often by individuals who genuinely believe they are defending a worthy cause, without recognizing the broader agenda behind such campaigns.
Let me state clearly that Pastor Enoch Adeboye remains one of the foremost fathers of faith in our nation. For decades, he has consistently preached the virtues of peace, prayer, love, reconciliation, and national unity. Even when faced with provocation, his response has always reflected humility, restraint, wisdom, and grace.
At 84 years of age, it would be unfair for young and able-bodied Nigerians to transfer to him responsibilities that properly belong to them. The task of building a better Nigeria rests primarily on the shoulders of the younger generation. It is their duty to lead the conversations, champion the reforms, and drive the positive change our nation urgently requires.
We must be careful not to become instruments in the hands of those who secretly nurture division while publicly preaching unity. In most cases, their target is not the individual being attacked; instead, it is the person who is attacking. Their real objective is to weaken the bonds that hold us together as one people and one nation.
I therefore urge all young Nigerians: do not allow anyone to recruit you into hatred. Do not allow anyone to weaponise your ethnicity, your faith, or your admiration for respected leaders.
Question every narrative. Verify every claim. Follow the facts. Resist manipulation.
The Nigeria of our dreams can only be built by citizens who refuse to be divided, who choose unity over hatred, and who place our collective future above narrow interests.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
Whether it is Fulani bandits, IPOB extremists, Boko Haram, ISWAP, Lakurawa, Ansaru, or any other group that chooses violence as its language, the victims are almost always innocent Nigerians. The dead do not care about the ideology of the bullet that killed them. The displaced do not find comfort in the manifesto of those who burned their villages.
If destruction is your method, terror is your tool, and innocent lives are your collateral damage, then you are not a protector. You are not a liberator. You are not a defender of faith or community. You are simply another enemy of the Nigerian people wearing a different uniform and shouting a different slogan.
The tragedy is not that these groups hate one another. The tragedy is that despite their different banners, they have all become experts at hurting the very people they claim to represent.
Yet somehow, the result is always the same: burnt homes, orphaned children, mass graves, shattered communities, and ordinary Nigerians living in fear.
Nigerians must reject any form of devision at this time and form collective alliance to defeat the common enemy.
You claim that Kwankwaso is merely a local champion whose influence is limited to Kano, yet a large number of your posts are either directly about him or heavily focused on him.
You also insist that Peter Obi is unknown in the North and politically irrelevant, but for months now, your content has been dominated by Peter Obi or topics aligned with him.
If both Peter Obi and Kwankwaso are truly insignificant and pose no threat ahead of 2027 — and if your party is the only one capable of winning — why do they occupy so much of your attention and energy?
What are the consequences for deliberate FAKE NEWS.
You Published a video of Tchadian troops to claim it is Fulani Terrorists exporting Mined minerals out of the country. This is disgusting.
Recently, there has been a dangerous surge of FAKE NEWS in Nigeria. But why playing politics with insecurity.
