The decree on deprivation of citizenship was signed today by President Gitanas Nauseda. According to Delfi, the Lithuanian authorities said that the procedure for depriving the citizenship of the Russian ballet dancer began because she "did not hide her sympathies to Vladimir Putin, called the war in Ukraine a special operation and openly despised the Western values".

Also today, businessman Yuri Kudimov was stripped of his Lithuanian citizenship. The country's authorities said that the businessman "carries out activities incompatible with the interests of national security".
