@origdawgie My grandpa used to use watercolor pencils. I don't know if this was a personal habit or something he learned, but he would sketch everything dry at first and use a tiny watercolor brush with water to blend the colors after he finished coloring 🙂

@origdawgie As frustrating as it is to hear it - PATIENCE. I'm not very patient, but if you haven't tried it yet, maybe invest in some gouache paint as well. Its opaque watercolor (a mix between watercolor and acrylic paint). It helped me get a feel for layering/mixing watercolors!

I also wanted to add, for those curious about the #yarn used for the Preemie dress, it was made with Sultan - Pink Sapphire from @hobbii_yarn and I can't wait to make another dress with that as well as the Sultan - Indigolite! ❤️
