Pleased to share a new preprint reporting community involvement in autism research. In Jan 2021, @journalautism introduced mandatory reporting of community involvement. Our team of autistic and non-autistic researchers evaluated the impact of this policy.

@criprights Sharing a well maintained older flat in a Syd suburb with lots of uni students that's ~1 hr to CBD by bus/train-that would leave just over $60 p.w for everything after rent. Plenty of rentals costing more than mine too. There is bulk billing walk in clinic close by.

I was dx'd too long ago to qualify for this study on #latediagnosis and #mentalhealth clinicians, but a worthwhile study for those who meet the criteria & are interested in it. In the twitter thread it's confirmed there are two #ActuallyAutistic people on the project's team.

Every so often I think I should use #linkedin more then I go on there for like 2 mins & instantly get multiple predatory DMs asking me to sign up the little start up I work for to buying $5k+ of signage or wellness programs or asking me to apply for jobs unrelated to my expertise
