Just In: FG set to pass a law that would prevent the next government from reversing the economic reforms policies introduced by the Tinubu administration, Incl. taxation, tarrifs, subsidies etc., making them binding and mandatory.
I’m really pissed off about what Abuja, the FCT, has turned into under this administration. Those so-called AMAC agberos (thugs) have gone beyond chasing commercial vehicles; they now stop private vehicle owners and demand their vehicle documents in the name of checking whether the vehicles are being used for company purposes.
I experienced this embarrassment today. Despite the fact that my vehicle clearly has a private registration plate and private vehicle documents, these agberos still stopped me, claiming that some companies now use privately registered vehicles for business purposes.
My question is simple: How can you determine that a company is using my vehicle for business purposes simply because it has private registration plates? My vehicle is privately registered, and its documents reflect that.
This madness needs to stop! Abuja is the FCT, not a lawless territory where agberos can harass private vehicle owners without clear justification.
Tells you how wicked they are. Deliberately plunge the country into poverty and now they are doing fire brigade approach. This should anger the people even more
For almost four years you people didn’t plan on how to ease cost of living for Nigerians that you deliberately caused. Less than 3 months to election you now have a solution.
God will punish all of you.
how do you carry out a road project without an engineering design? Same road he claims to have spent over 1 trillion naira for just 47km. No worry, just like Emefiele, you won’t escape prison.
@AdacheEmmanuel6 I think they specifically hand picked her for the interview. She’s good but not technical enough to ask the correct questions apart from what is on the script.
“An Igbo Man Cannot Be The President Of Nigeria Because They’re Betr@yers. I’m From Delta State, And I’m Supporting Tinubu To Complete His 8 Years. Buhari Completed His 8 Years, So Tinubu Should Be Allowed To Do The Same. Besides, Tinubu Is Not The One Who Scattered The Country.” ~ Market Woman🤦🏾♂️
It is from the mundane ordinary things that you get to properly understand Nigeria. Drilling a deep water well costs at least $100m but here is the regulator inviting licence winners to come for a 2 day “training”. Who has $100m to spend (with no guarantee of success) and needs “training” on what to do next?
From this we can infer the kind of people who have been awarded the licences…
ENDSARS LEKKI TOLL GATE: NEVER FORGET OCTOBER 20, 2020
Today, October 20, 2026, marks the sixth anniversary of the Lekki Toll Gate shootings, a painful reminder of the price Nigerian youths paid in their demand for a better country.
On that fateful night, peaceful #EndSARS protesters were met with gunfire. Lives were lost, many were injured, and the nation was left with questions about justice, accountability, and the sanctity of human life.
We must never forget. We must never normalise injustice.
As we remember the victims, I reaffirm my belief that a New Nigeria is possible—a country where citizens are protected, not brutalised; where young people are heard, not silenced; and where government power is exercised with responsibility and respect for human rights.
Nigeria must become a nation where no citizen is punished for demanding good governance and a better future.
May the souls of the departed continue to rest in peace. May their sacrifice strengthen our resolve to build a Nigeria where this tragedy will never be repeated.
A New Nigeria is POssible. A Nigeria where every life matters. -PO
Finance Minister Taiwo Oyedele says investors expect Tinubu’s re-election and warns reversing economic reforms could trigger capital flight and naira depreciation.

@Omgemeraldddd If you’re worried about what will happen if your Teams status shows as yellow then you probably should look for another job where you aren’t micromanaged
Nigeria produces crude oil but imports fuel and still queues to buy it. The subsidy is gone, yet our refineries remain idle. Who pays the price?
"We’ll fix the refineries, break the cartel, and bring fuel prices down."

We really fell off with leadership. There are competent Nigerians but the problem starts at the top. We need a competent president to assemble a competent team.
“The President Olusegun Obasanjo called me and said I should go to Norway for a global initiative on his behalf. The night before he was supposed to travel, he called me and I said, ‘he’s not going.’ It was a very important meeting, and he was the keynote speaker. He said I was a victim of my own efficiency.
I still refused, so President Obasanjo told my husband to beg me. I finally went.
After I gave my speech, it turned out the next speaker was the then President of the World Bank. He asked me to ride in the car with him and told me he wanted me to be his Vice President at the World Bank.
I initially refused because when we had reached out to the World Bank earlier for help with Nigeria’s reforms, the then President had refused. But after much persistence, I eventually agreed.”
