@theblessedsalt They can go to the parish Young Adult group composed of ages 18 (high school / college freshman babies) to 35 (married for 14 years with a mortgage and five kids, one of whom was in youth group with the 18 year old last year)
@jason_xxiv@BrandonDavisBD Wayne’s World 3 is about YouTube and Ticketmaster and the death of television.
Austin Powers 4 is about time traveling to the 90s (meta), and also parodying the hyper serious Craig Bond movies and the every-action-movie-is-John-Wick phenomenon.
I’d watch both
@Todd_Spence If Richard Kimble, Jack Ryan, and John Book all met, what would be their first words to each other and would they have an existential crisis about being identical?
@EzhmaarSul Anakin becomes Vader when he is younger than Obi-wan was in Phantom Menace. He’s roughly the same age as Grogu. He’s only about five years or so older than Ahsoka. When he dies he’s still younger than Qui-Gon was in Phantom Menace.
@The_Clermontian Have it so he’s plagued with the kinds of visions Anakin used to have, but about Ben killing Han & destroying the New Republic. Maybe unbeknownst to Luke the visions are caused by Snoke. Luke resists but ultimately messes up. Explains why he cuts himself off from the Force, too.
@heavyspoilers Don’t even need to reboot strictly speaking. There’s 30 years worth of stories in between 6 and 7, and barely any would have to connect to Sequels or Mandoverse. 20 between 3 and 4. They’d just have to have the guts to recast and stick with it.
@lmperialGroyper@melancoptimist “He didn’t want to let little Anakin to join the Jedi [because of the very attachment that drove him to the dark side], he didn’t make Anakin [who was emotionally unstable and disobedient] a Master.”
@MJediB03 I think one of these books (forget which one) also talks about Luke, Biggs, Wedge, Porkins, etc. chatting in their dorm room the night before the Death Star attack, which now doesn’t make sense following the re-introduction of the second Biggs deleted scene in the special edition
