@arjunmenon100 Important to acknowledge I’m wrong about Fluker being a pro-bowler. But it is important to mention that Chance Warmack, Jonathan Cooper and Luke Joeckel were all drafted before DJ, and he had a better career than all of those dudes combined.
@arjunmenon100 Yeah tough to nail this, but can’t knock TT on his first rd picks. Outside of Murray, and Tillary, every one of them has been a pro-bowler. Also need to incorporate UDFA’s who were retained like Ekeler.
@Lightning_Round I don’t blame Staley for playing the starters. What’s more concerning is the frequency of injuries to Williams and Allen. They’ve both had issues throughout their careers and outside of Palmer there is little depth. We need to consider getting younger at the WR position.
@JoyTaylorTalks@RoneJae@SpeakOnFS1 Agreed, Mahomes is #1. But just like Roethlisberger & Wilson, he had an amazing defense, coaching, and organizational stability which contributed mightily to his early success. Herbert was thrown in with little preparation due to a freak injury to Tyrod Taylor.
@BFTB_Chargers Click bait. Look at the data. TT isn’t perfect but he’s in the top 1/3 of the league. Of course you’ll reference playoff appearances, but you have to consider most of his tenure was handling a team in transition. What matters is players drafted and UDFA’s, free agency, etc
@Lightning_Round That’s an overreaction. Mike performed up to expectations in 2019 and for some reason Steichen didn’t know how to utilize him (or Henry). Mike may be overpaid by $5M this year... would rather pay a small premium than let a guy with that much talent go for nothing (Ie Sproles)
@Lightning_Round @toggers1987 Telesco is a good GM. Definitely in the top 10 in comparison to his peers. I’m always dumbfounded by those that want him fired. Whether it’s making the most out of top 10 picks, finding pro bowlers in mid rounds, or bringing in underrated free agents at value, he’s a good GM
@PFF_Sam In the modern era Fitz and Megatron gotta be up there. Andre Johnson, Julio and Brandon Marshall were all beasts too. Steve Smith was uncoverable for years. Wes Welker revolutionized the slot position...
