They actually believe we want to know the answer. Their brains are wired so that the énfasis is only on the end result, we want to rewire their brains so that the work and thought process gets learned and they can apply this same process to any problem they encounter.

I'm supervising some students making some geometric constructions. Interestingly some are confused on what they are supposed to do since most of the constructions are already done, they are talking about the example printed out.
