@IsraelOche79978@physioexaaj My point: That your post (that responds to that video) is very wrong and not thoroughly researched. I would expect better from someone who works in an evidence-based industry.
@Adesuaemmanuel3 1. We do know a lot more than you think
2. We don't have to know all the differentials, that is exactly why we refer for "further assessment and expert management". It's all about identifying all the yellow flags and red flags and referring appropriately.
@IsraelOche79978@physioexaaj Yes, the video that led to all of these is very unnecessary to start with, added to that -largely incorrect.
Howbeit, @physioexaaj responded precisely to your post. Keep your response in track, too.
It will be nice to stop milking 'one video' to make your own wrong assertions.
I don't know who needs to see this.
There is a difference between PHYSIOTHERAPISTS ( They are certified, went through rigorous years of training, postings, internships, specialty rotations and more)
Physiotherapists are different from "Spa therapists ", "massagers", "masseuses", "masseurs", " leg and hand straighteners", " body touchers", " muscle touchers", " muscle stimulators", " muscle vibrators" or whatever funky names they call themselves.
I get so sad when I see stroke patients have stiff, contracted and rigid limbs because of adequate Physiotherapy.
You ask them if they've been getting Physiotherapy , they say Yes.
And when you dig deeper you find out that the people doing the sessions for them aren't professionals and just doing limb exercises ( because they aren't trained and just quacks).
Physiotherapy is not just massage.
It is a therapy meant to provide physiological benefits.
If you have any limb, movement problems, strokes, tumors, post surgeries, bedridden etc and your Doctor says PHYSIOTHERAPY.
Please, it is only the certified practitioners (PHYSIOTHERAPIST) not these body robbers and robbings who are just wasting time and adding no value.
Contact PHYSIOTHERAPISTS !!!!!!!
I know someone needs to see this
There is an increase in number of young people having stroke
I'm talking about less than 40 years
This week alone I've seen over 5 young men & 1 woman with a stroke
At the end of the day 4 died.
I can imagine how many don't make it to hospital
