By the way, macOS Big Sur is not all bells and whistles. Its Notification Center introduces a new system of Widgets and removes support for existing Today Widgets. As a consequence, the Today Widget of Silicio is not available on macOS Big Sur.

@jbwharris So far, I do not know. Silicio uses AppleScript to access iTunes. Maybe you can enable Apple Script support for iTunes.

@alejandropardo Looks like reduced transparency is enabled for the display in the accessibility settings. Another option is that some other application is reducing the transparency, are you using some other application for displaying the content?

Silicio is back in the App Store. Last but not least, an update with improved support for the Music app of macOS Catalina is in the works.

I’ve removed Silicio from the App Store for the time being. It is better to not distribute the current 2.9.2 version when it is crashing. As soon as an update that fixes the crash with the Music app is ready, Silicio will be back.

There is a crash when using the new music app with Silicio. An update will fix this issue. Stay tuned.

@tobiasweh The new Deezer client uses Electron. It does not provide the Mac OS API that Silicio uses to retrieve song information.
