FROM FB:
Today, while volunteering at the shelter and walking my row of dogs, I noticed a different dog in another row sitting quietly in the corner of her kennel… shaking and trying to make herself as small as possible.
I looked at her kennel card and learned her name was Hazel and she had just been surrendered yesterday . 😭💔
I decided to go sit with her, hoping I could make her day just a little bit better.
Little did I know…
she would be the one making mine.🥹
Hazel was terrified and unsure of everyone around her. But little by little, she found the courage to take one step… then another… until she came over, kissed my face, and reminded me just how sweet she truly is.
I later learned that Hazel was surrendered because the family cat repeatedly attacked her. 🥺 And through no fault of her own, she lost the only home she knew.
Hazel is only 2 years old. She’s dog-friendly, good with kids, housebroken, and crate-trained. She has so much love to give, yet tonight she’s sleeping in a shelter kennel instead of a home.
I spent a long time with her today, holding her close and reminding her that she is a good girl… that she is loved, that she is seen, and that someone still cares about her.
Before I closed her kennel door, I made Hazel a promise..
I promised her I would share her story with the world.
And I told her that I have an incredible village of people who always show up when a dog needs them most.
Now I’m asking that village for one more favor.
Please help me keep my promise to Hazel. 🥺🙏🏻😭
Share her story. Tell your friends and family about her. If you’ve been thinking about adopting, fostering, or rescuing, please consider giving Hazel the forever home she deserves.
Let’s show Hazel that yesterday wasn’t the end of her story… it was the beginning of a beautiful new chapter. ❤️

DAMON PLAYING ALONE GOT ME IN MY FEELS…😢😢😢😢😢😢
💔💔💔UNSEEN, LONELEY & UNWANTED IN BLAIR, GA💔💔💔
I would be lying if I said he’s been waiting for a family for 4 years…
Because the truth is,
I think he stopped waiting years ago.
He learned that no one stays.
That everything ends the same,
Always.
But if there’s one thing that is making me lose sleep every night since I met him,
It’s not just that he has spent the last 4 years of his life alone,
Its that when it was time to leave,
I realized that he knew I was there the whole time,
But he decided sometimes it’s not always better to have loved and lost,
Than to have never known love at all.
Damon is just 5 years old but has spent 4 years in the shelter. He has been dog friendly, he’s playful and loyal with the volunteers he knows are coming back.
Im convinced if someone would take the chance, they’ll realize their soul dog has been waiting for them this whole time.

🚨 Pepper, a beloved 16-year-old shop dog from Graham, Washington, has been missing since 6 AM yesterday.
This loyal senior girl has never been a wanderer. She spends every day at the family business, waiting by the shop and greeting them every morning with tail wags and happy barks. But yesterday… she wasn’t there.
Her heartbroken owner is currently in New Jersey with family and feels completely helpless being thousands of miles away. The family has alerted neighbors, posted in local groups, and done everything they can from afar — but Pepper needs more eyes.
She’s a black dog with a bit of white on her muzzle, a true family member who just wants to come home safe.
If you’re in the Graham, Washington area (or know anyone who is), please keep an eye out for her. Any sighting or information — text 702-580-5237 or 206-349-4447 right away.
Please share this video. Every share helps. Let’s bring Pepper home. 🐾❤️
