And 2/ @ayeshahazarika here's the link to the 2 hour doc. Including their many achievements (min wage flexible working Equality act DV legislation Gangmasters Act) as well as the barriers these 13 Groundbreaking women faced. Enjoy. Thanks @JackieAshley https://t.co/SekvBTq3IC
So @ayeshahazarika in reply to your "Will Labour ever select a woman leader"! We spent 2 years making our 2 hour Groundbreakers documentary film about women breaking barriers in Westminster from the1970s. You'll know these women well. @JackieAshley chairing our discos. Do watch.
As we enter the Tony Blair phase of the leadership chat, I’ve been pondering why leading the Labour Party is still a bit like a Yorkie Bar - not for girls.
Where are the women?
Will the Labour Party ever elect a woman as leader?

As if we needed reminding after the last week - Europe is heating up nearly twice as fast as the world as a whole. It’s the fastest warming continent.

British pollinators. What a workforce ! Without this amazing team there would be no gardens or food for that matter. We must do our best to look after them, teach our kids they are friends and build habitats to show them how loved they really are.
‘Although the science park is better placed than some local research campuses to cope with inadequacies in Cambridge’s transport infrastructure, it shares the regional concern about water scarcity holding back development.’

It was the Lib Dems, however, who benefitted massively from the wildly disproportional result in South Cambridgeshire, winning 96% of the seats on just 43% of the vote.
Here's how votes compared to seats in Thursday's election. In Cambridge, First Past the Post worked to the advantage of the Greens, who won nearly half the seats on a third of the vote.
A relatively bad year for my election predictions, with just 10 of the 15 seats correct. The Green tide rose a bit higher than I was expecting, and Labour managed to hold off the Lib Dem challenge in the notoriously unpredictable Chesterton wards.
I'm up in the media balcony - I'll be popping up on @CambridgeRadio during the day - so sadly I can't go and chat to the activists on the count floor below
