For anyone who is worried about the communist threat facing America, here is some important information:
No one was eating the dogs or the cats.
No country emptied it's asylums or prisons into America.
Schools were not setting up litter boxes for kids.
America did not win the war in Iran over 30 times. It lost.
Other countries didn't pay the tariffs, you did.
DOGE didn't cut $2 trillion from the budget. It cost more than the tiny amount it did cut.
There is no communist threat. Not one person who has won a primary for Congress this year is a communist.
A political party that can't run on its record because it has been such a massive failure resorts to baseless fearmongering. That's all.
Many people don't remember who was president when America turned 200. They just remember the celebration, the ships, the America Freedom train, the joy, the patriotism, the comradeship.
When people look back on America's 250th, they won't remember any of that, but every single person will remember who was President.
Donald Trump replaced America's birthday with a cheap, pathetic celebration of Donald Trump. He will live in infamy for dividing the nation and spreading hate on our birthday.
Out of all the things his stole, and he steals for a living, stealing America's birthday from America is the most unforgivable.
there's no way the same Americans who made fun of europeans for complaining about 30°C+ weather are now complaining about having to put their ACs to 78°F (25.5°C)
@P_Kallioniemi It's just like the "Europoors don't have AC" meme. Highlight an annoyance in one part of the West, then get people from elsewhere to pile on about how stupid it is. Instant divisions and arguments between allies.

I just watched the story about how Trump hijacked America 250 to create Freedom 250. He really expected that if he made everything about himself that there would be the same turnout as there was in 1976 for the bicentennial. Of course he did. Damn narcissist.
People who wanted to donate to America 250 were given the bank and routing numbers to Freedom 250 without them knowing it. And of course, all the money went directly to the Trump family.
For six years, I've been saying that Trump would be taken down by money-laundering.
But I'll settle for wire fraud.
@AperatureFinTek@NikkiHaley That would be fine unless everyone cranking their AC brings down the grid. So there's a limited supply of power - and indeed people shouldn't waste it.
@Microinteracti1 That's been my gut feeling about this since it began. It sparks a (stupid) argument between allies, and also deflects from what should be serious soul-searching, especially in the US, about fossil fuel use and global warming. Instead "Europoors don't have AC and let Grandma die."
They invaded us. They were “the magnificent empire”. We were the lowly “pig breeders”.
When we didn’t greet them with flowers and fought back, they called us “American proxies”.
When America said “it’s not our war”, they called us “war mongers”. As if we attacked them.
In the fifth year of bombarding our cities, they started calling their strikes “retaliation” and our strikes “provocation”.
Which doesn’t change the truth: their war is a geopolitical murder in plain view. It’s fascism pure.
“Never again” is now, again.
