Hypothetically speaking.. if i ran a 2bn a manufacturing company in a space that needs major automation. AND that company had 50k factory workers globally. Can i get all those lads to wear VR headsets and body suits and sell that data to the foundational models?

@Trace_Cohen I just mean bigger check sizes into more proven businesses. That is just the later stage business model (late stage growth / PE). Some of these VCs who are raising massive funds are losing the craft of true venture and just looking more like PE

Layoffs totally suck, and I feel for everyone affected.
I do respect the effort to avoid making continual cuts year over year and instead make one deep cut and be done. This tells everyone left in the co that you don’t need to look over your shoulder.
Time will tell if @jack is right, or if AI comes after more jobs.
