This isn't to take away from the game or say it is not good, as much as to fight back against a pernicious myth that keeps coming up in gaming and maybe keeps people out of making their own games because they feel they can't measure up.
I hate the "only X number of people made Y game" as a selling point, because it's not true. Like there are well over 30 people credited on Hollow Knight, not counting translators and publishing stuff. It's just marketing and it sucks.
It's "only made by three people" if you only count head devs. Not any developer under them, or the multiple artists and musicians who contributed, or the well over a dozen testers who helped make sure it all worked.
It's all right there on Moby Games.
Wait, you mean to tell me Joe Jones, the guy who tried to say that peaceful protestors were going to bomb his car because he didn't like having to hear them talk, has inappropriate behavior issues? No way!
Signal's @NickCastele does the digging to reveal what Council didn't want to talk about: Member Joe Jones investigated after multiple complaints about inappropriate behavior https://t.co/BoAtfEzzIr via @signalcleveland
I've built this kit and is is perfect. It will never need to change. At least on branch of Gundam model evolution reached its peak long before anyone else.
Every year this kit stays in production, the funnier it gets. It hasn't aged poorly or anything, it can routinely be had for like $10, but also it's TWENTY-FOUR YEARS OLD.
