@Telegraph Good on him. Trans Rights are human rights as are all lgbtqia+ rights. He's right. There shouldn't be a need for an award for being supportive of people being who they are. But in the state of the world now unfortunately it's considered remarkable when it shouldn't be.

@s8n Even outside of the inaccuracy of jesus not being American, she clearly doesn't know her bible considering thw 'context'behind it is that a large amount of the testaments were written by his disciples and named after them 😂😂

The university says they are doing it to ensure the courses can continue, yet what's the point if we lose so many amazing lecturers and the ones we have left are spread too thin? At the same time, they're investing more in stem courses. The students will also defend our lecturers

Hi @ucu could you have a look at these figures? @edgehill says it’s averting a financial crisis by laying off 12 + staff from the creative arts but given we’re handing the Uni £1m+ a year and are happy with about 20p and a few books to do our research I’m not sure the sums add up
