Books & Bliss

I'm tired & my hub works 24/7 so I blog about what I do to entertain my baby •SAHM •Nerd

We've lost a sippy cup of milk & I've never been so scared.

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

I've never seen so many people excited about stickers. No, I'm not in a preschool. I'm looking at your Election Day selfies.

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

I'm a parent. That really just means at 9 pm, I'll be the one on the couch watching a Lifetime Christmas movie about cats.

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

I should get "I'm tired" tattooed on my back so people behind me in the Walmart line know to stay away.

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

I won my first food battle with my 2 y/o.

Where's my stairs? I need to start running up some. I feel like Rocky.

[Kate Hall @KateWhineHall]

"OMG, your costume is terrifying!"

- my neighbor seeing me without makeup on.

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

This Halloween thing is so much better when you're a mom

I didn't have to wear a sweaty costume & I still get to eat loads of candy

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

One case of hand foot & mouth and you are reverted back to grade school.

I'm eyeing all my friend's kids like they stole my last Twinkie.

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

My toddler doesn't have the fact down that when you're being sneaky you're supposed to be quiet.

And I may never teach him.

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

My souls says Vegan but my stomach screams Gummy Bears

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

All my life I've made fun of the "man cold."

Then, I got my first cold as a mom and I can relate

I just want to sit on the couch and whine

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

I don't read inspirational quotes.

They give me this weird feeling that I should be doing more than eating Fruit Loops and watching Bravo.

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

I need to start taking a tally on how many times I mutter, "Oh, WTH" when my toddler starts to make a mess.

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

Made my toddler an avocado smoothie this morning.

He takes a drink and looks at me like wtf?

I'm like I know I wouldn't drink it either.

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

I hate to sound like an overly enthusiastic 12 year old but..

Eligible by @csittenfeld is the best book ever!!

Genius. Simply genius.

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

Why can't messy hair and yoga pants be a Do?

I just don't get it

Toddler: screaming because I wont let him have fruit snacks for lunch.

Me: secretly stashing fruit snacks for when he's asleep

[Books & Bliss @books_bliss]

My husband is going on and on about his new coffee cup.

Pretty much sums up parenthood excitement.
