@BeecroftKara Indie Authors who need book reviews, feel free to try Pubby (goes to Amazon). I've received more reviews on this site in the last month than I have in the last 14 years. They have different packages (I pay <$15/month). They're easy to work with as well. https://t.co/BOCkI5n8jo
@ReadsGracie In my fantasy series, I use the word "donjon" instead of "dungeon." Besides using it in context, I've always hoped that because one word sounds like another that the readers can follow along.
@BookSpotlight Tell them. I had an author friend suggest I create new covers for my YA Fantasy series to create more appeal, and she was right. I think Indie authors especially are open to the constructive exchange of ideas since we don't have publishing houses looking out for us.
@Faerrosity @ria_thewolf If I may, when you make your group, decide on a max #. My group's max is 9, although right now we're only 6. Decide how you want to manage workshops (we do 3 pieces/shop, 10000 words each, & meet monthly. Parameters make it easier. Workshops really do help. Good luck!
Hooray for #StarTrek everything! This made my day (especially the #StarTrekTNG memes). 🥰
