a huge thank you to both @bookscapes @Medium_Aevum for a hugely informative and inspiring day…coming away with new thoughts and new projects (??) on the horizon however distant!
My first day of PhD excitement came in the form of a wonderful conference organised by @bookscapes at @mems_ukc - starting in the @CburyCathedral archives and continuing with some fascinating papers presented on campus and online 😍
Our wonderful second panel, hearing from @CBHChamberlain on late medieval Iberian chivalry, Ummugulsum Kurukol on Evliya Celebi and the travel tradition, and Laura Feigen on Hebrew MSS in cross-cultural contexts
So great to hear from our Early Career panellists! In our first session, we have @EleanorMayBaker on medieval book curses, @georgieberwick on the racialised bodies of the Luttrell Psalter, and @BiblioRaphic on a Robert Cotton binding
