I’ve been travelling for over 12 hours by train through #StormBabet today (only persevering because of an important family wedding tomorrow) and have somehow made it from Edinburgh to London. Truly horrible journey but I’ve also seen so much goodness in people. 1/3
From the barista in Costa checking in on someone who’d been sitting alone for a while and people checking upset lone travellers were ok when all trains were cancelled, to strangers chatting and playing card games together to make the long journey go quicker. 2/3
It seems like a very appropriate time to remind you that I’m also bookswithjane on Instagram (and now Threads!)
See you over there for lots of bookish chat. 📚
