@EliteBallKnower@Sigi_of_Lux@JoeLongBalls yeah i get how it serves the movie thematically, i just found it mostly flat because it’s intentionally thin. it serves a point it’s just not a great watch. also chemistry def matters to buy in to the romance in the first place.
@EliteBallKnower@Sigi_of_Lux@JoeLongBalls If you mean between De Niro and Pacino I agree. But in all seriousness, I thought De Niro’s romance had little chemistry and Pacino’s is kinda all over the place. I actually thought Kilmer’s was best but it doesn’t get a ton of screen-time.
@EARTHM0VERRR one of my favorite tweets of the year. great idea, perfect execution. i woulda thought it was too obvious when i hit send too, but clearly it wasn’t and it makes it even better.
@IcyVert #1 an LLM is not going to review the footage. #2 it would only be used for “objective” calls like out of bounds, watch the video. can’t believe folks got me out here defending Adam Silver.
@PeepsRebellion I finished all the main zones from Act 1 through Act 3 never losing a run with a combo of Hunter/Cleric/Tank/X. I don’t think Cleric is the best class (that’s prob Hunter or Druid), but it has some very strong in-combat scaling options and Cleanse is insane.
@capybaroness A more generous interpretation of this is that the movie is from Agnes’s perspective, so the movie is captioned and plays accordingly. Of course, we all know it’s Shakespeare, but to Agnes his art/public identity isn’t central until the final moments.
@Garmon321@The_Weeb_Crew I’ve yet to see a single Frieren fan defend this arc even though it takes up a large portion of the supposedly best season of anime ever produced.
@ColdCriti It’s confusing because from the premise/pilot/critical acclaim I assumed the character dynamics would be captivating, but it quickly becomes dull and repetitive. Then the last half of season 1 is playing generic battle shonen beats so why is this the highest rated anime ever?
@turntechGrlhead@HollowLeif i’ve played both mkw and mk8 a lot. an underrated issue with mkw is forced 24-player races. it makes local multiplayer a lot worse, which i think is the best way to play mario kart.
@soonrightaway i think the tools add to the frustration for many players rather than alleviating it. i didn’t use tools much early on because i knew farming shards would be annoying. running out of shards at an act 1 boss you find difficult is a drop the game moment.
