My name is Boon. I'm a day trader from Malaysia.
4–5 months of struggle. No payouts. Blown accounts. Tilt. Bad trades.
Rules I knew better than to break — broken anyway.
I've been that trader who knows exactly what to do.
And still does the wrong thing.
This time, that changes.
Just got funded again on 5 Lucid PRO accounts — $25k each.
Doing it in public this time. The wins, the stupid trades, the mental mess.
Day 1. Let's go.
Interesting session yesterday.
Had a bullish bias after we broke through the highs. But we were sideways for a long time.
Every single one took 3 tries before it worked.
Orderflow was clearly showing bids the whole time — the direction was obvious.
But the entries were tough. Stops could have been better tbh. Could have been more patient.
Better entries would have saved me a few stops. 3rd idea was the cleanest.
Added higher betting into the Tesla earnings move.
Trying to practice patience but i think i still took too many tries though. Need to be more selective with entries. Work in progress.
Day 14 . Results.
Breached all. Went on a full blown tilt.
Took a 25kpro Lucid account and gambled it. Passed got funded. Not proud of this but it is what it is.
Up $475 on the Funded now.
Going to stick to this 1 account for now until I get to a payout.
I need to be better. Going to work on my tilt triggers. It is always the same thing 1 tilt day and i blow up. Round trips not taking base hits.
I just keep sizing up when I am in a drawdown. Last year i was consistent with my sizing but something changed this past few months.
Going to be working on my tilt and also risk. Realizing prop firms are a different game, just taking base hits and money off the table are the way to go for me. Better for me mentally and also for the account.
Day 14. Game plan.
Assuming we're in a big range — 26570s to 26880s. 300 points.
Playing both edges.
26880s rejection — short to 26800 then 26720s.
26570s — long off this level if we come back to it.
Also watching for strength at:
26780s and 26715s — if price shows strength at either of these, I'm looking for a long.
Range is the play. No chasing breakouts until we see clear acceptance outside the range.
Gonna take it level by level.
Day 13. Green but messy.
~$964 total across 5 accounts.
Shorted my level at 26760s — that was the plan.
Round tripped the runner. Then for some reason flipped bias and kept longing into the dump.
Wrong. Stopped myself. Calmed down.
Waited for my level. Took 2 tries to get the bottom long but I got it.
Built the position. Bids kept flooding in — confidence was high.
Then I fat fingered and closed the whole thing by accident.
Had to re-enter at a higher price.
Took profit at 55pts on the partial.
Runner hit my trailing stop at 44pts.
Still walked away green.
Messy session. But I didn't spiral after the consecutive losses and also the fat fingered.
Still think i take way too many trades. Gonna work on this.
Small progress i guess lol
Day 13. Game plan.
Gapped down on the open. Watching for a similar fractal to what played out on the 13th.
If we get the same setup — acceptance back above the gap — I want to be long.
26760s — acceptance above, targeting PW High at 26890s. Hold a runner higher. We're at ATH, no reason to cap the trade.
Rejection at 26760s — short to 26530s.
Day 12.
Red day. -$880 per account.
Was patient the whole session. That part was good. Took 3 losses. Walked away. Down $200.
Should have been done there. Came back out of boredom. Kept pressing.
Turned a manageable loss into a big one. That's a trigger I haven't talked about much — boredom tilt.
Not losses. Not FOMO. Just sitting there too long and pressing buttons to feel like I'm doing something.
New rule from today: walk away = session over. No coming back. The discipline to stop is just as important as the discipline to wait.
Rithmic not showing the right amount.
Left with 1120 DD.
Day 12. Game plan.
We're at ATH. Not my favourite place to trade.
No reference levels above. So I'm keeping it simple today.
Plan: long pullbacks.
Using VWAP and intraday extension levels for entries.
Let the intraday distribution form — then trade off those levels.
One thing to watch:
Accept below PDH 26550s — looking for a retest short.
Not forcing anything at ATH. Let price show me what it wants to do.
Day 11.
5 Lucid Flex — ~$1,399 total.
But today I overtraded. Too many trades.
1st trade — followed the plan. Shorted at my level, took partials. Had a 100pt runner set up. Didn't take it.
Let it come back. Then kept shorting even though the market was showing strength. Should have stopped there. Had to walk away for a bit.
Came back, read the market better. Multiple trades today where runners went 50-70pts my way. Took partials on all of them — that part was right. Final TP wasn't hit on any of them.
Think i was being too greedy on some of the runners.
But the problem was the number of trades.
Lost count. That can't happen.
Starting tomorrow — got to be aware of how many trades im taking - paid way too much commission today
On Monday, 4/13, I had my biggest trade of the year. Here's a full breakdown of the why's and the how's — a full 27 minutes worth of sauce.
