@Osint613 Lost me when he started yapping the stereotypical talking points that China is so much better! America is a bully nation! Well, guy, you seem like a well adjusted elder have you considered fucking leaving the US? Of course not
@HammsLager Don’t toss us millennials into that bucket. We grew up eating at home without the internet full of people crying about how they should access and rights to basically everything.
@gov_fails Facts. The standard baseline should be bringing a lunch in (or fasting), with the occasional eating out for lunch. Once a month I’ll order lunch using my AMEX benefits on Uber Eats. $25 free which will cover a delivered meal.
Hot take: if I didn’t prep a lunch beforehand I ain’t eating lunch at all, 9 times out of 10. Why? Because things are overly expensive and I’m not an idiot. Crying about the costs of things doesn’t change what the smart decision is.
@jsaffer@RefinedPopulist Stay a victim and stay mad then. Nobody has a “right” to eating out just because you work a full time job. Throw it on the credit and yolo it or smarten up and make better choices.
@SeanMcCarthyCom No it doesn’t. Get a rotisserie chicken, some fruit, a frozen bag of broccoli, and some rice. Maybe $30 total that will feed you 3 or 4 times.
@DolioJ For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
