Delta just suspended the special travel perks that let members of Congress bypass TSA lines during the shutdown, and honestly, that shouldn’t exist in the first place. They work for us. Not the other way around.

Why should politicians skip the same security lines every American family stands in? If there’s a shutdown, they should feel it too, just like everyone else.

Every airline should follow Delta’s lead. No special treatment. No VIP shortcuts. Public servants shouldn’t fly like royalty.
