@WindhoekCables Failing mass citizen uprising there should be strong independant candidates in every constituency who are secretly part of group which is not a political party. Once you are an opposition party you can be dismantled. They need a party without having a party.

@borderpostmafi The danger of being worshipped when you are political leader is that you start feeling like demi-god and you stop listening to any voices of reason. You begin to see everyone else as an enemy with you being the only upright player. It wont work like that - you will fail dismally.

There is not a system in Zimbabwe that can be changed by the ballot box it simply cannot work. In the absence of any plan for change outside "democracy" there is never going to be change.

Just because something hasn't been done before does not mean it can't be done.

So there is an acceptance that it's highly unlikely an Opposition party will replace ZANU-PF in the next 10 years. So the strategy is cosy up to ZANU now and try influence internal factional politics. The real question and game to play now is who in ZANU-PF will replace ED.

The only systematic change in Zimbabwe outside this context is mass citizens uprising and marching to the street, even armed Rebellion. When something is so widley entrenched for so long change requires blood and loss of lives and uprising. If not there simply isn't change.
