Heavy rainfall is becoming more intense in the UK.
Although the wettest month on record for the UK is back in 1903, there is a clear trend to wetter conditions, with three recent months getting close to breaking the record.

If you see a seal pup with paint marks on it along the coast, just keep your distance it means the Welsh marine wildlife rescue are aware of it and they are healthy, probably just resting and staying out of the stormy sea.
