@DefenderOfBasic@danallison I can visibly tell when other minds are in this state but I don't feel I very often am in it, if ever. But I also don't know how to improve to be able to be like this with someone.
10 years from now ai won't be more human, we'll be more like ai. We tend to mimic our environment and the more we use ai the more we will just start talking like ChatGPT
Im someone who always assumes I am wrong and I constantly challenge my own opinions then at the same time end up being right (atleast for system design). That hesitation and lack of confidence in my ideas is stunlocking me so bad especially for career growth where despite being smart enough I am not seen that way because im not taking control. And it is always trivial shit too
@jackfriks@postbridge_ I don't really get why a price increase helps. More people will unsubscribe and getting new customers surely gets harder? But i am not business savvy so I don't know what im talking about
Been working in silence on things that bring me joy, not money. Its been very fun, might start posting about it soon as I think its almost in a state to show off some things
@apollonator3000 I almost always have my phone on silent, but do let most notifications through. When i pick up my phone its because I have the time to work through my notifications, but its on my own time.
Then finally, i have an 8 frame cycle for the gif. I choose specific things I want to animate. The volcano, cape, the ears, the water/boat (and the eyes on the big hill ๐)
settign these limitations in place set me up for success and give me achievanle goals. plus with pixel art, you don't need a lot of motion. Most of the moving items onyl move a pixel or 2 per frame. I'm sure this would be quicker if i used layers for each prop too but in this case i didn't. Anyway, this was the final result. I'm working on atleats 3 other gifs like this that i plan to use for a little co-op game i'm secretly making fto play with my gf.
I've really been into doing pixel art lately, and now also a little bit of animation. I don't consider myself an artist btu i think this is pretty cool, and I thought i'd share my workflow -
With the characters designed, I can then again use ChatGPT to generate a new image with the characters. It gets close, but not exactly what I want, but thats okay! I use the existing image of the character to correct the mistakes and add/replace little pieces, do colour correction etc.
