Christopher Landon will direct a film adaptation of Grady Hendrix’s novel ‘THE FINAL GIRL SUPPORT GROUP.’
It centers on a therapeutic support group for six “final girls”— survivors of mass-murderer rampages whose experiences inspired the slasher franchises in the 1980s and ’90s.
This is the most important scene of the season imo. The entire season has been about Lestat reckoning with his trauma, esp around Gabi. This is the moment Lestat realizes he can't separate his mother from the vampire anymore, that's the same person. His mother is also his rapist.
watching my highlight on peni in a comp match and my dumbass did something stupid that ended up baiting 2 players into my mines and then they died. im incredible actually?
like truly no ability to grapple with nuance. and at the end of the day it truly does show when you're a white person choosing your favourite and excusing your favourite because it thinks it makes you morally superior. people can see through it, i promise you. just be real lol
interview with the vampire fans and their inability to understand the show they apparently love so much because they were wrong is so strange like i truly can't get over it.
i was on someone's blog and there were these massive paragraphs of text using all of this complicated wording and talking in circles almost to come to a point that's just like not true. they have their own canon. they cannot understand anything deeper than a puddle.
tbh wasn't really fucking with the odyssey in the first hour but that scene where he's reflecting on the trojan war talking to penelope had me crying it was very poignant and took me aback
