The United States Govt has also complained about UPI and RuPay cards affecting
the business of American Visa and Mastercard in India, which charge a transaction
fee of 1-1.5%. Is this also a reason that the Modi Govt has decided to impose a
transaction fee on the free UPI transactions, in order to cater to these demands? The
surreptitious change in law appears to suggest so.

NPCI IS IN PROFIT, THEN WHY IMPOSE A UPI TRANSACTION TAX?

● NPCI has shown a pre-tax operating profit of Rs. 1900 Crore. The Modi Govt
earned Rs. 1000 Crore in tax from NPCI last year. In addition, NPCI’s balance sheet
has Rs. 6119 Crore in hard cash.

● What then is the justification for changing the law and imposing a UPI transaction
tax, except for foreign pressure at the cost of ordinary Indians?

MODI GOVT’s & NPCI’s LAME-DUCK EXPLANATION OF INABILITY TO
SUBSIDISE FREE UPI TRANSACTIONS IS A HOAX

● The lame-duck explanation of free UPI transactions and security protocols requiring
Rs. 20,000 Crore annually as a reason for imposing a UPI transaction tax is not only
hollow but exposes the malintent of the BJP Govt.

● Let us juxtapose this farcical argument with the profit of PSU banks in 2025-26,
which was Rs. 2 Lakh Crore (PIB Press Release Dated 29th May 2026).

● RBI also transferred surplus funds to the Modi Govt to the extent of Rs. 2.86 Lakh
Crores for the year 2025-26.

● Even leaving this aside, PSUs/Private Banks earned Rs. 57,259 Crores only by way
of Minimum Amount Penalty, Debit Card charges & Account Maintenance fees as
per a Rajya Sabha reply dated 28th July 2026.

● Also, NPCI has a pretax operating profit of Rs. 1900 Crores and hard cash reserves
of Rs. 6000 Crores. So this demolishes the entire Subsidy Argument being given as
an excuse for imposing UPI Transaction Tax.The hoax is writ large.

एक बड़ी खबर सामने आ रही है कि नेहा बोरा को लेकर अब तक 3 - 4 थानो में FIR दर्ज करने के लिये तहरीर दी गयी है लेकिन पुलिस ने अभी तक किसी भी तरह का मामला दर्ज नहीं किया है ,

गोरखपुर के कैंट और पीपीगंज थानों में विश्व हिंदू महासंघ , भाजयुमो और अधिवक्ताओं द्वारा मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के खिलाफ कथित आपत्तिजनक टिप्पणी को लेकर लिखित तहरीर दी गई हैं , पुलिस का कहना है कि वे सीधे एफआईआर करने से पहले घटना के वीडियो फुटेज , ऑडियो रिकॉर्डिंग और साक्ष्यों की सत्यता की प्राथमिक जांच कर रही है ,

उत्तरप्रदेश वही पुलिस है जो बजरंग दल द्वारा और हिंदूवादी संगठन द्वारा छोटी मोटी बात पर FIR दर्ज कर लेती है लेकिन नेहा बोरा मामले में सरकार डरी हुई है , क्योंक़ि उत्तरप्रदेश में चुनाव आने वाले है , एक और कारण ये हो सकता है कि उत्तरप्रदेश प्रशासन को पिछले कुछ दिनों में कोर्ट ने कई बार फटकार लगा दी है , इस वजह से भी FIR सोच समझ कर दर्ज करने पर विचार हो रहा है ,

आज के समय में नेहा बोरा किसी सेलिब्रिटी से कम नहीं है , नेहा बोरा ने दिल्ली जंतर मंतर के बाद अपना खुद का एक बड़ा नेटवर्क तैयार कर लिया है , देश के युवा छात्र नेहा बोरा को सुनकर प्रेरणा लेते है , क्योंकि नेहा बोरा के भाषण युवाओ के भविष्य को लेकर होते है ,

🔹Running UPI costs Rs. 20,700 crore a year. Last year, RBI transferred Rs. 2.87 lakh crore as surplus to the government. The government and RBI can cover the entire UPI cost by using just 7% of that surplus.

🔹In August, the Modi government introduced the Taxation and Other Laws Amendment Bill to enable MDR on UPI.

▪️On 6 August, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman told Parliament that no decision on MDR had been taken.
▪️On 14 September, a notification was issued late at night imposing MDR on commercial UPI transactions above Rs. 2,000.

👉This is an attempt to weaken UPI and give American companies a larger share of its earnings. It has been done at America's behest, with a compromised Prime Minister bending to Trump's pressure.
