And then Regina plays Claudia with this childlike element, and… is this how the book represents her? Does the book take the anger away and turns her into a caricature, is Regina choosing this portrayal because she knows what Louis actually misses?
acho meio foda que fã br, de qualquer nicho, nunca pode se incomodar com nada, sabe? o público brasileiro sempre tem que aceitar tudo, ficar contente com tudo e ainda concordar com qualquer chapisco gringo
Also what's funny about the "Why is Lestat making so many modern references" discourse is that Anne literally got into a fight via newspaper with the owner of Popeyes...and used Lestat to make a statement.
this entire season is a journey of a survivor reckoning with the centuries of abuse he’s endured & hes here playing the caricature that was forced on him but many of you are only interested in a polished, not too exuberant reaction out of a victim hence the response on this tweet
"billionaires are parasites on the society" hmm... it's almost like the writers are purposefully using that to illustrate Louis's vampirism. "Louis wouldn't just mindlessly hoard this much wealth without giving back" he lived in Dubai.
a galera espantada com pessoas se identificando com o louis e admitindo que eh horrível mas que tbm pagariam alguém pra simular seus entes queridos que já se foram... descobriram que luto não eh só ficar triste e pode ser extremamente sórdido e doentio
implying the show is trying to romanticize incest when jennifer herself has said (twice now) that it’s one of the ways she uses to manipulate him is actually an insane thing to say. he looks distraught during every sexual encounter with her.
it’s always so interesting to me ppl hate every single minuscule crime lestat does, but louis knowingly choosing to spend decades w the person he thinks at least aided in his daughter’s death is just like. fine and normal. completely forgivable. i wonder why.
i walk up on the stage. "i want to see devils minion happen with old daniel" i say into the microphone. the crowd booes at me and i turn around to leave the scene embarrassed. "shes right" i hear someone say in the crowd. i turn around and see assad zaman himself
ok but I genuinely think that every time armand erases someone’s bad memories or traumas or whatever — he thinks he’s doing good!!! he says ow that hurts you, lemme get rid of it for you, lemme make it better 🥰
My favorite part of this debacle is people thinking that fewer hours was about workers rights when it was about cops being less time on the streets lmao
lestat taking salamanders silly little big bus song and turning it into big boss actually makes my heart melt it just shows that he actually loves his humans and he really takes them seriously 😭😭 if anything bad happens to that band i’m fucking suing leave his kids alone
Such masterful acting from Sam. The way his face changed was so subtle and yet so total. It tells you everything about the fear and the rage Lestat is truly feeling (and fits with what Sam said about Lestat not having closure over what Armand did in Paris and at the trial).
