إيران أمةٌ ذاتُ حضارةٍ عريقةٍ تمتدُّ لآلاف السنين، اعتنقت الإسلام، ثم أصبحت في القرون اللاحقة إحدى أهم الركائز التي أسهمت في قيام الحضارة الإسلامية وازدهارها؛ من الفقه والحديث إلى الفلسفة والطب والرياضيات والأدب. غير أنَّ معيار التفاضل في الإسلام ليس اللغة العربية، ولا الانتماء الجغرافي إلى أرض الوحي، كما قال الله تعالى: ﴿إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ﴾ [الحجرات: 13]. ومن ثمَّ، لا يحقُّ لأيِّ حاكمٍ أن يجعل من مجرد تكلُّمه باللغة العربية مسوغًا لادعاء تمثيل «الرسالة المحمدية (ص)»، أو أن يستبدل هذا الادعاء بالعمل بتعاليم الإسلام الواضحة.

لقد أكدت الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، بصرف النظر عن الخلافات السياسية، مرارًا على مبدأ حسن الجوار والعلاقات الأخوية بين البلدان الإسلامية، حتى في تعاملها مع نظامٍ حديث النشأة يحكم جزءًا منفصلًا من الأراضي الإيرانية. وفي المقابل، يحذِّر القرآن الكريم بوضوح: ﴿وَلَا تَرْكَنُوا إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا﴾ [هود: 113]، كما قال رسول الله (ص): «مَن أعانَ ظالمًا سلَّطَهُ اللهُ عليه».

وعليه، فإنَّ من يتحدث عن «الرسالة المحمدية (ص)» يجدر به، قبل أن يوجِّه النصح إلى الآخرين، أن يزن سلوك حكومته بهذه المعايير نفسها: فهل ينسجم الوقوف إلى جانب قوى شنت عدوانًا عسكريًا على دولةٍ مسلمة مع النهي القرآني الصريح عن موالاة الظالمين أو إعانة المعتدين؟ وهل يتوافق استقبال أعداء المسلمين وتقديم الدعم لعملياتهم العسكرية ضد دولةٍ مسلمةٍ مجاورة مع حقوق الجوار والأخوَّة الإسلامية؟ إنَّ الجواب عن هذه الأسئلة قد بيَّنه القرآن الكريم، وأكدته سنة النبي (ص)، وشهد له ضمير الأمة الإسلامية.

The few months leading up to October 7, 2023, marked a pivotal phase in the history of the Middle East.
Regional dynamics reached a climax through a reshaping of the region that completely sidelined the Palestinian cause and forced armed resistance forces, led by Hamas, into zero-sum choices.

The televised interview given by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the American network Fox News in September 2023 was not merely a fleeting media statement; it served as the official announcement of the imminent inauguration of a new regional era, as he stated that the Kingdom was "getting closer every day" to normalizing relations with Israel under U.S. sponsorship.
This explicit announcement did not emerge from a vacuum; rather, it was preceded by an intense diplomatic path carefully managed in Riyadh just a few months prior.

In April 2023, Riyadh witnessed concurrent visits by a Hamas delegation, including Ismail Haniyeh, Saleh al-Arouri, and Khaled Mashal, and a Palestinian Authority delegation led by Mahmoud Abbas.
During these sessions, the parameters of the new equation were laid out: the region was moving irreversibly toward the complete integration of Israel into a regional security and economic framework under U.S. auspices, specifically through the IMEC Economic Corridor project.

The choice presented to Hamas was the necessity of adapting to this path, dismantling its military infrastructure, surrendering its arms, transferring the political administration of the Strip, and coordinating with the Palestinian Authority to accept minimal administrative and economic concessions.
In the event of refusal, the movement would face unprecedented regional and international blockades and isolation, being framed as the sole obstacle to regional development and peace, rather than the Israeli occupation.

The political pressure was not confined to Riyadh; it was coupled with other regional moves that closed off avenues for Hamas's leadership.
Parallel to the Gulf pressure, Ankara witnessed a tangible shift led by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, whose rapprochement with Benjamin Netanyahu accelerated, marked by their New York meeting in September 2023, to construct Eastern Mediterranean gas pipelines.
This translated into increasing pressure on Hamas leaders residing in Turkey to restrict their activities and neutralize their military path.

In the face of these initiatives, Hamas found itself trapped in a tight strategic corner.
First, Hamas viewed the unfolding path as bypassing even the "minimum" Palestinian rights established in the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative, such as withdrawal to the 1967 borders, the establishment of a state, and resolving the refugee issue.
While the movement held onto this floor as a non-negotiable threshold, the new arrangements dropped statehood and Jerusalem in favor of an "economic peace" and living ease dependent on Israeli approval.
Second, the movement realized that accepting the regional ultimatum meant self-dismantling the resistance and transforming Hamas into a mere administrative authority managing basic services in a blockaded strip, while settlement expansion and Judaization in the West Bank and Jerusalem accelerated under the most extreme government in Israel's history.

Facing a geopolitical reality moving decisively toward smothering the resistance and liquidating the Palestinian cause through comprehensive normalization, Hamas leadership reached a strategic conviction that awaiting the completion of this arrangement meant a "silent political and military execution."
Hence, Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood" on October 7 was not merely a tactical field reaction confined to Gaza's borders; it was an explosive decision aimed at shattering the geopolitical siege.
It aimed at undermining the "normalization in exchange for humanitarian concessions" formula and forcing regional and international powers to awaken from the illusion that the Palestinian issue could be bypassed.
Ultimately, it sought to reaffirm through blood and arms that disarming the resistance cannot be achieved without a widespread upheaval that upends the entire regional stability table.
