Aiwan-e-alaq mein
Musalsal ek sawal liye
Sargashta phirta hoon
Junoon-e-ishq mein doob
Gar hosh baaqee rahe to bhi
Jism mein jumbish na ho
Gar fehm baaqee rahe to bhi
Khayr-o-shar ka imtiaz na rahe
Propaganda recruits its voices from the very group it targets. It borrows their tongue to read out that group's diminishment. It rewards the defectors in public and prices the dissenters out of the room.
@me_lawrence29@Zonikhanhs Gutter mein loatkar khwaab dekhna band kar kazzaab khinzeer!
Pehle apne ghar ki aurtein sambhaal, linduon ke saath bhaag rahi hain tum jaise hijdon ki laanati soorat aur seerat dekh kar!
If you concede, you lose ground. It is as plain as that. Muslims are afraid to proclaim their faith. You may call it maslehat or hikmat or whatever you like, but I call it pure cowardice.
When love of this world settles in, certainty in the akhirah loosens its grip, and we start to fear the judgment of people more than the judgment of Allah. This is the wahn the Prophet ﷺ warned of i.e the love of this world and aversion to death. And it compounds. What one generation excuses as prudence, the next inherits as habit, until a whole community is on its knees before the status quo, calling its wisdom.

@Qalb_Of_Momin Much of it is learned behaviour. When you live and work among some of the most corrupt people on Earth, the influence compounds over time, eating away at your morality and even desensitising you so that you absorb no good traits at all. Most people aren’t born criminals.
Talkh haqeeqat ye hai ke ye jurm kabhi sabit na ho sakega, kyunki jurm kisi ne kiya hi nahi. Koi ek mujrim hota to hum use pehchan lete, naam lekar pukarte, tareekh ke kathghare mein la khada karte. Mir Jafar ka muamla phir bhi aasaan tha. Usne jaan kar becha tha, so tareekh ne use ghaddar likh kar apna hisaab barabar kar liya. Hamein bechne wala hamein kabhi nahi milega, is liye ke bechne wale hazaron the aur har ek imandar tha. Hamari poori shikast ka noha bas ek jumle mein likha ja chuka hai: kisi ne khiyanat nahi ki, sab ne apna apna bhala chaha, aur qaum ka bhala kisi ke hisse mein na aaya.
// Talkh Haqeeqat
Pehle main bhi yehi samajhta tha ke har daur apna Mir Jafar khud paida karta hoga, ke kahin na kahin koi sauda hua hoga, raat ke parde mein dastakhat hue honge, koi na koi Plassey saja hoga. Magar yeh haqeeqat ab samajh aayi hai ki darasal is baar koi Mir Jafar tha hi nahi. Na sauda hua, na saazish rachi gayi, na kisi khanjar ki zaroorat padi. Is baar to bas ek khaslat thi, aur wo bhi aisi ke dekhne mein bilkul masoom maloom ho: apni fikr, apni hifazat, thodi si maslehat.
Ye kisi khusoosi shakhs ka naam nahi, balki ek kaifiyat ka naam hai. Wo roshan-khayal, moatadil, padha-likha Musalman jise riyasat bardasht kar leti hai, koi villain nahi hai. Wo bas aisa aadmi hai jiske paas khone ko kuch hai jaise naukri, rutba, practice, bachchon ka mustaqbil, ya mahez izzat-daar zindagi ki khwahish. Aur jiske paas khone ko kuch ho, uske andar ye khaslat khud-ba-khud aajaati hai. Akbar Allahabadi keh gaye hain ke "qaum ke gham mein dinner khaate hain hukkaam ke saath, ranj leader ko bahut hai magar aaraam ke saath." Sau baras hum is sher par hanste rahe aur yehi samajhte rahe ke kisi leader par tanz hai. Ab samajh aaya ke tanz kisi shakhs par nahi, ek khaslat par tha, aur khaslat kisi mansab ki mohtaj nahi hoti.
Aur sitam ye hai ke is poore qisse mein jhoot kahin nahi hai. Editor ne headline is liye narm ki ke mahol kharab na ho, aur wo sach mein yehi samajhta tha. Professor is liye khamosh raha ke shoba bacha rahe, ke aainda kisi Musalman bachche ka daakhila na ruk jaaye, aur wo bhi apni jagah sacha tha.
Magar khaslat ka hisaab akele mein nahi hota, nizam ke andar hota hai. Deemak hi ko dekh lijiye. Ek akela deemak bhala kya bigaad leta hai? Wo to hamla bhi nahi karta. Bas exist karta hai, apna rizq talaash karta hai, imandari se, khamoshi se, apni fikr mein magan. Phir ek din poori chhat baith jaati hai, aur kisi ek deemak par muqadma nahi chal sakta. Kehte hain, boond boond se ghara bharta hai. Bhar gaya. Har boond apni jagah shaffaf thi, doobe magar hum. Sab apni apni dukaan bachate rahe aur bazaar lut gaya. Aur sach poochhiye to ye khaslat sirf unhi mein nahi thi. Hum mein jisne bhi kabhi maslehat ko hikmat ka naam diya, usne is ghade mein apni boond daali hai.
Riyasat ye sab jaanti thi, isi liye use ghaddar khareedne ki zaroorat hi nahi pari. Use to bas ye khaslat darkaar thi, jo pehle se maujood thi, pehle se aazmoodah, har mohalle, har idare, har committee mein bichhi hui. Bulldozer to baad mein aaye, raasta pehle maslehat saaf kar chuki thi. Ghar gire, dukaanein girein, dargahein girein, aur har girti hui cheez ke paas kahin na kahin koi samajhdar awaaz yehi kehti rahi ke abhi shor mat karo, mahol aur kharab ho jaayega. Hamara munh khula rakha gaya aur is amal ko mukalma ka naam diya gaya, aur lutf ye hai ke mukalma kehne wale bhi apni jagah mukhlis the. Yehi to aafat hai.
Phir yehi khaslat dheere dheere hamare apne andar bhi utar aayi. Hamein yaqeen dila diya gaya, balki sach kahiye to hum ne khud apne aap ko yaqeen dila liya, ke qusoor hamara apna hai: naam ka, daarhi ka, topi ka, lehje ka. Ke thoda aur jhuk jaate to shayad qubool ho jaate. So hum jhukte gaye aur wo naapte gaye. Jhukte jhukte sajde tak ja pahunche, magar thehre wahi jo pehle the: mashkook, ghair, doosre darje ke shehri.
Learn from history, but never obsess over it. For obsession, whether of glory or of grief, can warp the trajectory of your life. Always see things from where you stand in the present, & gauge what the future may hold. Futile endeavours are too often but anchors dressed as sails.
@varungrover True for a raw LLM, which is why agentic loops exist. Define acceptance criteria, draft to spec, critique adversarially, revise. That will get the job done like a clockwork.
@gimoxtweet Or a rotten herd of pigs who spent a century gulping hate, brewing from layer upon layer of fabricated history, until it became their instinct and common sense, stripping them bare of any sense of morality and justice.
This is not specifically a women-only problem. A large portion of Muslims in India are heavily indoctrinated by secularism and liberalism, more so than Hindus, and that is the crux of the issue.
They essentially live with the tension that Indian democracy and laws supersede Sharia, yet they cannot reconcile with this inner conflict, so they suppress it, internalise it, and remain silent in the name of excuses. This whole indoctrination has been driven by relentless guilt-tripping and deliberately engineered socioeconomic deprivation and dependency, leaving them trapped in a cycle of silent cognitive dissonance.
Yes, women can be more vulnerable when they buy into this, as they can develop tunnel vision and become more prone to making emotional decisions based on what they are constantly being told. But blaming them does not help. Muslims men bear the responsibility to lead, if women are in error, the failure is of men. Calling out women only exposed that failure.
The burden of correction falls squarely upon us. Allah says in the Qur'an, "Men are the protectors and maintainers [qawwamun] of women" (4:34), it is a maqaam of responsibility, not bickering. We cannot abandon our post and then lament the state of our households. It is upon the men to reclaim their role as guides, through knowledge, patience, and upright character before we have the right to expect anything else.
The most urban and educated youth of Hindu India for you! So very brave and gracious! 👏👏👏
It's far more prudent for Muslim women in India not to go out without a mahram. It's not safe, a hostile mob like this can become a lynch mob in seconds.
I know it’s preachy and sounds like victim-blaming, and I hate that it does. But in a climate this hostile, taking precautions is the only viable option.
@sanobeee We don't need better representation in broken rooms. People need to stop begging for scraps in the form of seats at tables purposefully designed to strip us of our dignity.
Ibn Taymia said:
So you will find many among the people of desires (i.e. sinners) who possess a love for Allah and His Messenger that is not found in many of the worshippers, just as the Prophet ﷺ said regarding Himār (a sahabi) who used to drink wine a great deal: “Do not curse him, for he loves Allah and His Messenger.” The hadīth is in Sahīh Bukhārī and elsewhere.
