Why are we having total revolt, show utter disgust and having nothing but contempt for our courts? Why are Kenyans unhappy with every judgment of our courts? Why do Kenyans believe that every judgment of a Kenyan court is JurisPESA induced? How can we move foward when we don't have courts free from JurisPESA or political interference? Where do we go from here?
Today, we met with the @ChineseEmbKenya Counsellor Sun Yinan and his Third Secretary Xie Zheng, representing the CPC. We discussed our party's structure and potential cooperation with the Communist Party of China.
Edwin, Non derogable rights are not limited. You cannot suspend them. That’s is our CoK. When they are wholly violated as the court found, you vitiate the so called process. Monetary compensation was escapism.
We found evidence of construction going on inside the Nairobi National Park but @KWSKenya just confiscated our drone. Currently protests by lobby groups and environmentalists are going on over the construction.
Jamila: The question remains, are we apologizing for the past or discussing the present? Northern Kenya today is not Northern Kenya of 1965. Since the introduction of devolution in 2013, the region has received hundreds of billions of shillings through equitable allocations. There is still a lot to be done but who is responsible for the state of that region today? #CitizenNewsGang @JamilaMohamed
A mother in Tunisia stays connected to her son living abroad by quietly checking his home security camera every day. From miles away, she continues to pray for his safety, success, and peace.

KENYA MUST NOT BECOME A QUARANTINE ZONE FOR FOREIGN RISKS
I strongly and unequivocally oppose any proposal, arrangement, or government-to-government agreement that seeks to turn Kenya into a quarantine or holding center for individuals returning from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) due to concerns related to Ebola or any other highly infectious disease.
The principle is simple: if a risk is considered significant enough that another country is unwilling to accommodate it within its own borders, then Kenya should not be expected to shoulder that risk on behalf of others. The health, safety, and well-being of Kenyan citizens are not negotiable and must never be subjected to unnecessary external dangers.
Kenya has a sovereign responsibility to protect its people first. Our healthcare system, economy, tourism sector, and national security interests should not be exposed to potentially devastating consequences arising from decisions made elsewhere. No foreign government, regardless of its influence or strategic partnership with Kenya, should expect our country to assume a public health burden that it is unwilling to bear itself.
International cooperation is important, but cooperation must never translate into transferring risks from powerful nations to developing countries. True partnership is based on mutual respect, shared responsibility, and equal treatment, not on exporting potential threats to populations that had no role in creating them.
I therefore call upon the Government of Kenya to publicly reject any such proposal and provide clear assurances to Kenyans that our territory will not be used as a quarantine, transit, or containment facility for foreign nationals exposed to highly infectious diseases.
Kenya’s first duty is to Kenyans. Our people must never be placed at risk to solve another nation’s problem.
