Oldonyiro, stand firm.
This is your moment. The Assembly belongs to the people, not just those who benefit from keeping you in the shadows. Don’t let noise drown your right to be seen.
4/
And notice the hypocrisy: when Bunge Mashinani went to Sericho, there were no complaints. Suddenly when it’s Oldonyiro, they shout “illegal” and “unconstitutional.” Double standards couldn’t be clearer.
3/
They claim Oldonyiro is “unsafe” and “too underdeveloped.” But what better way to make it safer and developed than by bringing government presence for 5 full months?
2/
Why? Because for the first time, Power leaves the comfort of town and moves to Oldonyiro. That means visibility, accountability, and development where it’s been denied the longest.
1/
People of Oldonyiro: don’t let anyone tell you your home is “unfit.” For years, decisions about you were made far away in town. Now that the Assembly is coming to your doorstep, some are panicking.
With the County Assembly stabilized and leadership realigned, it's encouraging to see development efforts picking pace again. Isiolo needs less noise, more results, and this is a step in the right direction. @GovGuyo
I had a productive meeting with @DrRonohPaul, Principal Secretary for Crop Production, at his office in Kilimo House. We discussed the establishment of boreholes to support a proposed feedlot project, which is an important step toward boosting agricultural productivity and enhancing resilience in our county.
We remain committed to sustainable livestock development and strengthening food security through continued collaboration with the national government.
@Mrobkoto Kenya is not and has never been a banana republic. It's a nation governed by the rule of law under the competent leadership of HE @WilliamsRuto There are many channels put in place where one can air their dissatisfaction, and social media isn't one, unless for malicious purposes.
Let’s debunk the hypocrisy
Are our MCA'S traitors?
1.
Early last month, Former isiolo county assembly speaker, alongside his financiers, led some Isiolo MCAs into a mission to impeach Governor Guyo.
8.
And now, today, the same former speaker and financiers are calling these MCAs traitors!
They followed every reckless instruction you gave them. They were isolated for weeks, almost starved and some left depressed. They delivered your plan.
It's you that failed.
7.
Still, they were detained further, treated just like pawns, which they realized they were.
That’s when it started crumbling. The so-called “16 is the number” fell apart, not because they were traitors, but because they were human beings pushed beyond the limit.
6.
And after all this, they couldn’t return to their homes.
One MCA then told them:
"We did everything you asked. We warned you that the Senate wouldn’t entertain an impeachment staged outside the assembly, and you said, ‘leave it to us.’ We did. Now let us go back to our lives.
5.
The MCAs, baffled by this level of buffoonery, still complied, and just as the MCA's expected, when the matter reached the Senate, the house full of learned friends shot down the alleged impeachment at the plenaries.
4.
The next day, they were ordered to “make an appearance” at the County Assembly.
That was the grand plan.
Two of the key financiers, both senators, told them:
“Just show up at the assembly for a few minutes, declare the governor impeached, and leave the rest to us."
