Today is Friday and the game plan is clear: accummulate more $WOJAK
Markets reward conviction, patience, and consistency over time. That's what I'm seeing in here.
Focus on positioning.
Starship’s twelfth flight test will debut the next generation Starship and Super Heavy vehicles, powered by the next evolution of the Raptor engine and launching from a newly designed pad at Starbase. The launch is targeted as early as Tuesday, May 19 → https://t.co/2gZQUxS6mm
@mrnguyen007 Would be amazing to see you in a $PHNIX shirt too, bro!
When we talk about XRP, @phnix_xrp comes into mind first. Then Risepad comes next.
Yield is good. Controlling the yield is better.
To understand where the real yield is, you have to look at the link between @CurveFinance and @ConvexFinance. The incentive wars aren't over; they have simply matured.
Convex controls more than 53% of Curve’s voting power. They hold 420M veCRV. This allows them to decide exactly where token emissions flow.
If you lock CVX, you decide where $576k in incentives go every two weeks. You are the one moving the money.
The value of CVX depends on three things:
> The dollar value distributed by Curve.
> CRV token inflation, which is decreasing over time.
> The price of $CRV.
The math right now is very clear. If you buy at $2 and $CRV hits $2, you recover your initial investment in 10 months just from yield.
Those are very ambitious targets set by @CredibleCrypto, but I don’t see them as impossible.
This cycle has been terrible and CRV still went above $1. As Curve keeps growing and maturing, it makes more sense to value this whole financial engineering machine accordingly.
As I've said many times, If I had to pick just one cashflow token today, I would buy $CVX over $CRV, $FXN, or $FRAX. We don’t have inflation compared to the last cycle either...
I genuinely like all three projects, but Convex controls governance across them. By holding CVX, you reduce single-project risk.
Also, you don't have to lock your capital for years. In Convex, locks are 16 weeks maximum. This makes it much easier to take profits and avoid getting trapped.
There are ways to boost your exposure or get liquidity faster (@asymmetryfin / @0xC_Lever), but that is a topic for another day. The main point is that owning the governance layer is currently worth it.
We like the $CVX — Excellent article from @CredibleCrypto
We also like storing $CVX in $afCVX
Still the biggest and best locker for Convex: Auto-compounding hands-free yield
