@Invest_Brandon Assignment value is the right risk number. Watch the roll though. tastytrade books it as a losing close plus a new credit, so history looks like it keeps working. Add the whole chain, first credit to final close, to see if rolling paid. I use a tool that rejoins the rolls.
The free report doesn't do rolls. Get your free report for this: your win rate next to your average win and average loss, across your last 200 closed trades. Read-only.

What base do you use after a roll?
GOOGL strangle, Feb to May 2026. I rolled the put twice, both times for a credit. Running net credit: $765, then $865, then $917.50, and all of it was kept.
Your broker shows it another way: two closed put legs at -$480 and -$1,417.50.
So after a roll, which number is your loss?
So I track the trade and every roll as one position with a running net credit, fees included, and set the stop on that. I built https://t.co/xtZxIyBZpU partly because my spreadsheet fell apart on positions rolled 3+ times. The paid app groups every roll into one position.
I built https://t.co/xtZxIyBZpU to do that split from tastytrade history. The free report starts simpler: win rate next to average win and average loss, last 200 closed trades. Read-only.

Weeklies or monthlies for you?
Your win rate only counts the trades you were willing to close.
Take profit on winners, roll the losers. Closed P/L looks great. The losses sit in the open position.
"Rolled for a credit" isn't a win. It's the same trade, moved out.

Sell premium on AAPL, NVDA, TSLA or SPY? Once trading starts, check:
1. Does your broker list ByRDs at all?
2. What option approval level do they need?
3. How wide are the quotes?
A $100-or-$0 payout alone doesn't say how a position can be managed before expiration.
