A finance person I trust thinks the viral “leaked 4 hour DeepSeek investor meeting notes” = fake. Very unquant like in its generic-ness & also some stray boomer isms.

Based on the adoring reaction though I’d say the veracity doesn’t matter really … people (I’m including myself!) want so badly to believe that one of the main figures at the forefront of AI seems to be *gasp* an actual thoughtful, principled, good guy. Not a greedy megalomaniac who believes he’s been endowed with godlike powers or somehow uniquely responsible for saving humanity from total annihilation.
