As a mom of a young son, this bi-partisan gun violence prevention legislation isn't everything I wanted- but it makes me feel a little better better about sending my son to school in the future.

And that is something to be thankful for.

The LGBTQ+ community experiences some of the highest suicide rates. For vulnerable communities, words can have life or death consequences.

Candidates running on anti-LGBTQ+ platforms are proliferating rhetoric that literally destroys lives.

They aren't fit to be in office.

As millions of parents send their kids back to school, the #1 thing on our minds is the safety of our children.

So long as civilians have access to weapons of war, we can't guarantee that safety.
