@NWSBayArea An earthquake on the Kamchatka Peninsula generated a tsunami that hit the california coast 9 hrs later. Tsunamis are known to disturb the atmosphere and make a pressure wave that can be detected with a sensitive microbarometer. I think my microbarometer may have got it.

I got literally millions of these tiny bugs crawling up the walls, walkway and porch outside my house. They are a few millimeters in length, no wings and gray in color. Seem to be attracted to heat and light. They seem to just hatch a few days ago. Scaling on photo is mm.
Plotted the data from my solar sensor monitoring the sun's brightness during the 2024 eclipse we had April 8. Even though, here in Stockton, it was a partial eclipse at 36% , the graph showed the dip in brightness clearly.
I was able to use a BH1750 LUX meter ic to record the brightness of the sun during the 2024 partial eclipse. Unfortunately, I had to record the light levels while the sensor was on a window sill and some sunlight got cut off later during the afternoon.

@NWSFortWorth@NWSBayArea During maximum darkness during the 2023 Eclipse, the air temperature actually dropped around 9:30 AM PST here in Stockton Ca. My DIY Arduino weather station recorded the dip in temperature.
