Did some benchmarks - you can run them yourself. TLDR:
1) plonky2 STARK is ~38x faster than halo2, ~64x faster than groth16 on 3yo MBP
2) plonky2 STARK does 142 hashes/sec on a 2021 MBP with an M1 processor.
