@WinooskiNormal Once you just start responding to stuff like "I have the disability that means I get to take my phone everywhere" with "no you don't. that isn't real. shut the fuck up" you will never stop. It's more addictive than heroin.
@Lenny_P_Cover@brian_callaci "Soccer" was the normal term for soccer in England until the 1950s and was consciously phased out basically for the explicit purpose of starting stupid arguments with Americans during the UK's precipitous decline as world power in every other area
@crycartband the funny thing is this was not a "what were people thinking in 1997" type of deal. everyone hated it then too. they would be physically ejected from portland clubs when they tried to play. almost certainly destroyed any career momentum nationally.
@heathyhag@wottheberry it's a fucking made up story from an AI clickbait account. the only thing that matters here is clearing up the false information about allergies. there is no real person, home, or party whose "rights" come into play.
@l_lisaw@crazeegee42@wottheberry you don't get to rewrite how science works in your house. I don't live in a house where creationism is true and animals spontaneously generate from meat just because it's my house.
@TetchyBitch@wottheberry the fake ai story wasn't about people being rude, it claimed an allergy to being near peanuts, a pseudoscientific thing that only crazy people believe is real
@crazeegee42@wottheberry No, that's a myth. There is no actual medical documentation of a peanut allergy being triggered that way. Peanuts do not aerosolize and the chemical mechanism of the allergic reaction doesn't take place in the lungs.
@JamesSurowiecki it's cool that you have both a retard's understanding of physics and a sociopath's understanding of morality. it's only "easier" to back into the flow of traffic and pedestrians if you don't care about hitting them.
Itโs amazing how many baseball bros think rules should disappear whenever enforcement affects a player or action they like. Taunting is against the rules. The penalty is ejection. If that concept is too complicated, sports might not be your thing.

@cawth0rn3@quiet_homeboy yeah a lot of doctors are now prioritizing limited resources for people with real conditions who actually want to be helped and putting the "chronic illness" nonsense at the back of the line. not saying it doesn't happen, saying it's a good thing.
@BannedKirby "technically owns" also known as "owns"
I don't know why people don't just lie instead of using these ridiculous phrasings. There's one on Reddit today about how her boyfriend disappeared because he "barely answered" her phone calls aka answered them.
