Mr. Boudali concludes with a message of inner peace, quoting @SadhguruJV ("Peace is the core of existence. We cannot create it..."), and emphasizes that #peace must first exist within ourselves and our immediate environment to build a peaceful world.
Mr. Khalid Boudali outlines the key goals of the initiative, including citizen engagement, creating Peace on Earth Zones, unifying voices for #peace, and establishing a culture of peace through strategic partnerships.
The initiative also aims to empower people to take effective action in their lives and communities, and utilize Peace on Earth Zones to address violence and extremism.
Mr. Boudali emphasizes the crucial role of civil society in shaping the agenda and creating citizen awareness.
Terrorism, refugee crises, and regional insecurity follow.

@AfCFTA@AUC_MoussaFaki@mnsanzabaganwa@_AfricanUnion PM: We are determined to reverse the past middle passage. We are determined to reconnect with our African heart & outstanding pan-Africanness. The Afrexim bank--CARICOM relationship is aiding all of that. This forum is important and we hope to see you all actively participate."
Session 1 of the Global Africa Prople to People Forum kickstarts with an address from the esteemed Prime Minister of Barbados, Honourable Mia Amor Mottley.
"The AU will learn from the Caribbeans on the issue of reparations to effective push for its success. ECOSOCC has also been working towards mobilising CSO actors in Africa and the Caribbeans to collaborate on finding solutions that matter to them respectvely", Osei shares.
"This forum has been a result of ECOSOCC trying to answer the question: 'How do we involve CSOs in the engagement efforts between Africa and the diaspora?' and in every year we get to build up on it".
First speaker in the session is our Head of Programmes Nana Osei. "Efforts to solidify the @_AfricanUnion & CARICOM cooperation have been ongoing and the MoU to be signed will be the icing. The AU wants to ensure that Africans in the diaspora can reengage with their brethren".
