@Gatlukbanhoth@EyeRadioJuba As a law student you should have learned by now that every story has at least two sides. Judging from one end, you can never achieve justice. Secondly media reporting always focus on that story to sell not necessarily the entire picture. https://t.co/ZFBIYKhfCe

Honoured to meet with the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. @HassanSMohamud, during my official visit to Mogadishu. Our discussions focused on critical issues related to regional peace and stability, where I reaffirmed IGAD's unwavering commitment to advancing these efforts. We also explored the establishment of a Regional Blue Economy Centre of Excellence, which will be hosted in Somalia. I look forward to further strengthening IGAD-Somalia relations as we work together to drive progress for the benefit of our region and the continent.
I am saddened by the news of the passing on of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. South Sudanese will remember her for unwavering support to their struggle. Among her many contributions, she sponsored the Sudan Peace Act, a precursor to the CPA 2005. RIP.
Shame on the @Olympics for playing the #Sudan National Anthem at our #SouthSudan Basketball Game this morning, this has ruined the moods and it’s a mistake that shows exactly what we fought for, to prove who we are, #SouthSudanese#SSOX let’s do this again.
The growing numbers of the youth population in our region are the bedrock of our success and an area we should prioritize as a pillar for peace, security, and development.
Today, I had the pleasure of engaging in productive discussions with H.E. Micheal Martin (@MichealMartinTD), the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs and Defence Minister of Ireland, at our IGAD office in Addis Ababa. We covered a wide range of topics, including peace and security, development, and the critical role of youth. Additionally, we signed an agreement to strengthen our collaboration on shared priorities.
It is unfortunate the authorities in Sudan executed a lady with a name Aya Mustapha Ali Khairalla for posting on social media a post about RSF. This is unbecoming violation of Human and People’s rights.
