Encore une fois en français, la lettre de Jean Chrétien, l'ex-premier ministre du Canada à l'occasion de sa fête:

And guess what? If the US does go to war with NATO, no more visits to Paris or Portugal for US citizens. The ones living in NATO countries on work visas will be sent home. That includes US visitors to Canada.
No time to look into h#LL breaking loose in the health system because the finger would point at cabinet. Instead, to the scapegoats, preferably political ones. Say, wasn't Ralph Klein mayor of Calgary once upon a time and AB premier in 2004?

@TheBreakdownAB Who was premier in 2004 when the problems with the type of water feeder mains used in Calgary became known? Ralph Klein, fiscal conservative fan of debt-free AB and idol to DS! Did he assign any of our tax $ for a major repair and feeder main replacement project? Waiting...
@lectricjacket Danielle Smith's hero? The problem with Calgary's water feeder mains first arose in 2004 on his watch. What did he do about provincial funding for infrastructure? He focused on debt-free AB, destroying health care and attacking people on AISH. He was out 2 years later.
But that's not all. What if Smith builds a pipeline to the US border, usurping federal control over international water treaties? Wait a sec, what about those irrigation canals?
What then? Priority access to YYC water for foreign data centres on the city's edge? Skyrocketing utility prices? Calgary residents will lose in this equation.
@patgagnon_75 The separatists and Federal Conservatives want to separate First Nations from their land and the minerals underneath it (for the US to take, like they're trying to do Greenland).
@Iluvhikingjen@14thBaseline It's worse than that. At least one of these places laid off staff as soon as the company got the public money. The staff were still needed, but corporate profits were needed more.
DFM Rasmussen acknowledged that Danish forces do use dog sleds to defend Greenland's north, because it is in accessible otherwise. He listed other equipment used by Denmark's military, too: ships, etc. Touché!
Greenland and Denmark have called their bluff. The framework has existed since 1951 for the US to defend Greenland. The US abandoned all bases but one. Greenland and Denmark are members of NATO and covered by Article 5. The red line must be respected.
Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and Greenland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Motzfeldt will hold a press conference in front of the Danish embassy between 4:00 and 4:15 p.m. Greenlandic time.
