@GregBoysen A better way of thinking about it is most valuable to any team. A player shouldn’t be penalized for having good teammates. And I’m fine if PCA wins it, just pushing back on this archaic definition of MVP. As it is, Dodgers haven’t been as good since Ohtani stopped pitching.

@Head_FirstPod It’s simply against the rules. Like there are no leadoffs and pickoffs at this level. The rules are adjusted for this age group. You can steal signs when you leave little league.

@sck_2008 @purpledrank0 The Padres would be a decent model to look at. They got aggressive in free agency (not all hits but they’ve tried), they had a good farm system and made trades, and they’ve been really competitive and selling out their stadium. They were the better team in 2024.
