🌤️ Weekly Weather Overview 🌤️
It’s shaping up to be a warm, dry, and sunny week across much of the Central and Intermountain West, while the main jet stream dives from western Canada toward the Mid-Atlantic. That means most of the active weather stays on the edges of the country — or up in Canada
🌧️ West Coast:
Later in the week, a cutoff low is expected to form in the Southwest. As a trough pushes ashore, expect heavy rain and mountain snow along parts of the Pacific Coast.
❄️ East & South:
Early this week, unusually cold air continues to dip far south — all the way into Florida! 🥶
A Freeze Warning is in effect for northern Florida through Wednesday morning, but relief is coming as the ridge slides east later in the week.
🌨️ Northeast:
Cold air will hang around long enough to bring ice and snow from parts of New York into New England and Quebec.
☀️ Upper Midwest:
Sunny, dry, and mild for now... but keep an eye out! 👀
Long-range signals are hinting at a major pattern shift toward the end of the month — possibly much colder and snowier conditions ahead.

Well-I do not speak much on social media these days, but I have just released my winter weather predictions for the Twin Cities area. NOAA's forecast of a weak La Nina may just make this winter "ordinary". Click the link to read more: https://t.co/4MncA2iAvg
Thursday's forecast is trending upwards for accumulating snow across portions of east central MN/western WI. There is uncertainty in how quickly cold rain will transition to snow across the TC Metro, however we encourage folks to plan for a potential messy morning commute. #mnwx
