The damage Ten Hag has done to Manchester United is borderline irreversible. Yes, he should be sacked. But the players he has brought in are terrible. Absolutely terrible, and would not work under most managers.

Antony. An aged Casemiro and Cristian Eriksen. An aerially weak Lisandro Martinez in the most physically dominant league in the world. A Tyrell Malacia who cannot keep fit, and simply isn't good enough either.

You are left with Mason Mount, who is in the worst form of his life, and cannot even get game time, despite Manchester United splashin 60 Million on him. Why on earth?

Then Rasmus Hojlund, who at this point in time, is not better than Anthony Martial. Maybe in the future, but not now.

Andre Onana is an okay keeper. But as we have seen, far too error prone. Manchester United is simply too much of a toxic environment for him to succeed.

Luke Shaw, Scott McTominay, Aaron Wan Bissaka, Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof - these players starting regularly in the past few games, are the EXACT same players that started games under Ole.

Dare I say, Ole utilised these players better. Much, much better. He had a defined style. Ten Hag does not.

Ten Hag has taken these players and made them worse, he has made the team worse. The starting XI under Ole was better than it is under Ten Hag. Pogba, De Gea, and Cavani all walk into the current Manchester United team. Even Dan James sees game time.

Sack him after spending so much on a rebuild. Then you are tasked with another rebuild, with terrible players in the squad.

It is a lose-lose situation for Manchester United.

May as well re-hire Ole as the interim again, seeing as the players are largely the same as when he got sacked. At least he would get the best out of Bruno Fernandes and others.
