I know I’m late to this party and they’ve been discontinued on newer models anyway - but as someone who is discovering the MacBook Pro’s TouchBar for the first time in 2022, I have to say it is a truly, truly awful, inelegant solution to a non-existent problem
Haven’t posted in a while but I’ve been squirrelling away at my first proper App! A simple React weather app connected to a weather API, with search:

@alicechance Oh god it’s awful isn’t it! Can’t believe other people are just living with this too. Surely it also annoys people who work for apple 🤦🏼♂️
Right I NEED to sort this out once and for all. When I bought my first MacBook in 2010, it decided to add *every* Facebook friend’s birthday to my apple calendar, and ever since I’ve been getting birthday push notifications about people I no longer know. How do I sort this pls 😭
@PhilCodebreaker This is the same shit they pulled on gays in the 70s & 80s. It’s not a ‘spike’, they just feel ready to come out bc of progress. It would be more practical, rather than paint it as a ‘spike’, to ask why they didn’t feel they could come out in the first place. Always been here.
Have you noticed how tweets which were sent 1 minute ago now show as ‘1M’ whereas tweets 2 minutes ago show as ‘2m’? This has been REALLY annoying me 🙃
